How to report a bug, suggest a tool, flag a bad translation or send a copyright notice. One address, and what to include so it can be acted on.

One address for everything:

What to include

A tool is wrong or broken. The most useful report names the tool, what you entered, what it gave you, and what you expected. A wrong number with the inputs attached can usually be fixed the same day; "the calculator is broken" cannot.

Please also say which edition you play — Java and Bedrock genuinely differ on several of the formulas here, and half of reported bugs turn out to be edition mismatches.

A translation reads badly. These are very welcome. Say the language, the page, and what a native speaker would write instead. Game terms are taken from Mojang's own translation files, so if a term looks wrong it is worth telling us whether the game itself uses something different.

You want a tool that does not exist. Describe the task, not the tool — what are you trying to work out, and how do you do it today? That usually leads somewhere better than the tool people first ask for.

Copyright. See the DMCA page for what a notice needs to contain.

What we cannot help with

  • Your server, world or client. We are not support for Minecraft itself, for

hosting providers, or for mods and plugins we did not write.

  • Account or purchase problems. Those belong with Mojang and Microsoft.
  • Recovering a corrupted world. Some tools here can inspect a save file, but nobody

here can restore data that is gone. Keep backups.

Response time

This is a small project, so replies are not instant. Bug reports with reproduction steps get looked at first because they are the ones that can be acted on.
